A Spoonful of Sugar

A Spoonful of sugar helps the medicine go down
The medicine go down-wown
The medicine go down
Just a spoonful of sugar helps the medicine go down
In a most delightful way

This some made famous by Mary Poppins is of course not just the title of this post, it is the entire theme. Currently there is a charity event going on in SecondLife called The Spoonful Of Sugar Festival there are four sims for your shopping pleasure, and whatever you buy there all proceeds goes to charity

Spoonful of Sugar

For those of you who might wonder what charity this event is for (and have not clicked the link I provided) The charity is for Doctors Without Borders

“Medicins Sans Frontieres.” That’s French for Doctors Without Borders, and was founded in Paris, France so they use the French version of the organization’s acronym.   As for what they do, their name really says it all, but I like to talk, so lets add that there are a lot of people in the world that can’t get even basic medical care because of their religion, race, financial status, conflicts, and many more reasons, and they desperately need our help. MSF/Doctors Without Borders puts legs under that idea and makes it RUN, not walk, to help. Anyone. Anywhere. Anytime.  Often with great personal risk to their own safety and wellbeing.  They are unstoppable. Seriously, check out their info page here and their website link.  We want to support them and evidently, you do too

In order not to take away from this event, I will not as normal write extensive about what I amw earing and such, but will just mention one thing. The outfit I am wearing in this picture is from Wicca’s Wardrobe and is available at the event.
